This course is by INVITATION ONLY to DoD military and civilian attorneys who are appointed, work as, or are pending assignment as ethics counselors.  Supervisory military and civilian paralegals performing significant duties in this area of the law are also eligible to attend.  Due to the demand for this course, students are ineligible to attend if they have attended this course or another DoD Ethics Counselor Course in the last thirty-six (36) months. 


Prerequisites:

Prospective Sister Service Students, (USAF, USN, USMC, and USCG) civilian or service member attorneys, interested in attending should contact their respective services regarding attendance.  Each service has their own allocations for the course.  Please do not apply through this method as we will not consider applications through this process for sister services.

All prospective students must complete the course application below for approval/disapproval. Approved applicants will be notified for completion of ATRRS enrollment.

UPDATE: Due to the current COVID-19 situation, this course will be conducted as a distance learning (DL) course over Zoom for Government.


Due to the high demand for this course, TJAGLCS may be required to prioritize seats in this course. Please provide the name and contact information (government email and work/telework phone number) of a supervisor who is nominating you to attend this course. If more than one person applies from an organization, that supervisor may be asked to provide an order of merit list to assist in prioritizing individuals with the greatest need for this training.
