2021 COMBATING EXTREMISM TRAINING: IMPERMISSIBLE BEHAVIORS AND REPORTING REQUIREMENTS

This training video, ‘Combating Extremism Training: Impermissible Behaviors and Reporting Requirements,’ satisfies a portion of the extremism stand down training requirement established by the Secretary of Defense’s memo dated 5 February 2021. Service in the Army is voluntary and it is a privilege that comes with added responsibilities and obligations. One of those obligations is to stand against extremism, as we should with anything that threatens to undermine good order and discipline, trust, and our culture of respect. This video discusses impermissible behaviors related to extremism, as well as reporting responsibilities and procedures contained in Department of Defense and Department of the Army policy.
