The G-3/5/7 provides facility oversight by partnering with the University of Virginia (UVA) to ensure adherence to the Government lease arrangement and successful operation and management of the LCS's leased space. We plan and coordinate maintenance (e.g., painting, carpeting, minor repairs), space utilization, support for military training events (such as unit formation runs and helicopter landings) and Force Protection Condition changes. We are also the LCS representative to the UVA Police for force protection, 24/7/365 security personnel, VIP visits, Air Operations, and access control matters. Additionally, we exercise oversight of the Army Lodging operation, an 80-room Facility located on the 3d and 4th Floors of the LCS.
