Phase I (online course) enrollment is managed by year group by
OTJAG Reserve Affairs & Mobilizations (RAM) for USAR officers and by the

Enrollments for CPTs are now based on MAJ promotion zone year group.
-
Phase I launches annually in MID-FEBRUARY on JAG University’s (JAGU) new Moodle site
and must be completed by August of the same year. Ph. I is online on JAGU Moodle.
-
Phase II is normally held in-person at TJAGLCS in late October/early November
(two-week course). Phase I is a prerequisite. Students should complete Phase I and Phase II in the same 12-month timeframe.
CPT Enrollments
USAR
-
USAR officers will be automatically enrolled into JAOAC Phase I two years prior to primary zone consideration for the rank of Major by the OTJAG RAM office.
- Officers will receive an email notification of enrollment.
ARNG
-
Phase I enrollment is managed by year group by NGB-GC for ARNG. ARNG officers are NOT automatically enrolled into JAOAC Phase I, as there are no centralized management capabilities for ARNG officers assigned to the various states.
-
ARNG officers who meet year group eligibility must coordinate with their state SJAs by 30 October XX to be nominated to attend JAOAC Phase I. NGB-GC, by 30 November XX, will provide state SJAs a list of the nominees selected to contact their state training offices for enrollment in ATRRS.
-
Successful enrollment in ATRRS by state training offices will allow TJAGLCS course managers to register ARNG students in JAGU for access to course materials. POCs are listed below.
MAJ Enrollments
Phase I enrollment for MAJs is usually based on an AC to USAR/NG transfer. MAJs seeking to enroll in JAOAC should contact their respective USAR or ARNG POCs listed below.
