1LT Adam Curfman and 1LT Matt Blackburn of the 220th OBC participated in a Norwegian Foot March hosted at Fort Detrick on 1 October 2023. First held in 1915 as an endurance test for the Norwegian Army, the event is an 18.6-mile (30-km) ruck march with a 25-lb (11-kg) pack. Individuals with qualifying times earn the coveted Marsjmerket badge awarded by the Norwegian Armed Forces.
