1LT Adam Curfman and 1LT Matt Blackburn of the 220th OBC participated in a Norwegian Foot March hosted at Fort Detrick on 1 October 2023. First held in 1915 as an endurance test for the Norwegian Army, the event is an 18.6-mile (30-km) ruck march with a 25-lb (11-kg) pack. Individuals with qualifying times earn the coveted Marsjmerket badge awarded by the Norwegian Armed Forces. The Fort Irwin TDS Field Office unveils the TDS Rock at the Painted Rocks, Fort Irwin, CA.
