24TH DOMESTIC OPERATIONAL LAW COURSE (7-11 APRIL 2025): APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN!

General: The 24th Domestic Operational Law Course is scheduled for Monday, 7 April to Friday, 11 April 2025.

The DOMOPS Course will feature foundational legal classes in defense support of civil authorities, the national response framework, homeland defense, and much more. The course will also address law and policy surrounding current topics in domestic operations, including civil disturbance, domestic cybersecurity, and disaster response. This course is designed as an introduction to domestic operations and is not suited for those who have taken the course previously or who have extensive experience in domestic operations or Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) missions.

Security Instructions: All attendees require a SECRET clearance. DoD personnel will be vetted via DISS. All other Federal agency personnel desiring attendance must have their security officer send a VAR via DISS to the LCS Security Office for verification using SMO Code: W1ETAA5, prior to 3 March 2025 . Active Duty Army and DA Civilians: If you are interested in qualifying for a seat in this course, please complete the short online application below.

This application is only required for ACTIVE DUTY ARMY Judge Advocates and enlisted paralegal NCOs, and Army civilian legal personnel (NOT National Guard, Reserve, USAF, USN, USMC, USCG).

Army Reserve and National Guard should enroll through ATRRS; no application is required. Other services should contact their service training manager.

DEADLINE: 3 March 2025. The deadline for Active Duty and civilians to complete the DOMOPS Course Application is 3 March. Applications submitted after that date will not be considered. Completing this Course Application does NOT guarantee you a seat in this course. Students selected to attend the course will start receiving emails from ATRRS on or about 4 March. That will be followed by a Welcome Memorandum for the Course. Unfilled seat allotments will be filled from the waitlist beginning 4 Mar 2025.
