Course Summary
This course provides resource managers with a survey of the statutory, regulatory, and policy authorities governing the commitment, obligation, and expenditure of appropriated funds. This course is NOT intended for attorneys or designed to provide continuing legal education credit for attorneys. This course meets the mandatory training requirements for the Army’s Comptroller Accreditation Program for CP11 and FA45 personnel, and is listed in the DOW Financial Management Regulation as an appropriate source of training for DOW fiscal law accreditation. The course was developed by the Contract and Fiscal Law Department, The Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School (TJAGLCS), Charlottesville, Virginia, and is presented online through JAG University, TJAGLCS. The course is NOT associated with other fiscal law courses that may exist within other DOW organizations, such as fiscal law refresher courses offered by the Department of Navy or the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. JAG University DOES NOT provide certificates of completion for non-TJAGLCS courses.
