ABOUT US

Created in June 2019, the Leadership Department is the JAG Corps’ premier Leadership institute. We are committed to providing exceptional legal education, training, and resources to JALS personnel; while improving how JAG Corps’ leaders develop their teams and lead their organizations.

MISSION

The Leadership Department educates, trains, and develops trusted leaders adaptive to any environment who are capable of motivating and inspiring their teammates to provide world-class principled counsel and premier legal services in support of a globally responsive and regionally aligned Army.

VISION

To become a leader in the discipline of legal leadership education through providing world-class education and training grounded in doctrine and experiential leadership opportunities designed to help develop highly trained, inclusive, and values-based leaders of organizations that empower all members to lead in an increasingly complex and legally dynamic world.
