The NSLQ welcomes submissions, on a rolling basis, from every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces and international partners. Submissions may be in the form of a first-person account, law review, after-action review, or an account of lessons learned. Each submission must be a Microsoft Word file, single-spaced, and in 11-point Arial font. Authors should submit articles ranging from 1,500 to 7,000 words, but exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Submissions should generally adhere to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (22nd ed. 2025). CLAMO will provide additional editorial assistance during pre-publication review.
