General: The National Security Law Department will host the 74th National Security and Law of Armed Conflict Course (NSLOAC) from 3 – 14 March 2025. This is a 2-week course.
NSLOAC is designed to educate junior officers to succeed in national security law assignments, whether in garrison or in a deployed environment. The target audience is junior to mid-grade CPTs (O-3s) who are currently in, or will soon start, their first national security law assignment, or are otherwise preparing for upcoming deployments or exercises.
Security Instructions: All attendees require a SECRET clearance. DoD personnel will be vetted via DISS. All other Federal agency personnel desiring attendance must have their security officer send a VAR via DISS to the LCS Security Office for verification using SMO Code: W1ETAA5, prior to 27 January 2025. Army Reserve and National Guard should enroll through ATRRS; no application is required. Other services should contact their service training manager.
DEADLINE: 7 January 2025. The deadline for Active Duty and civilians to complete the NSLOAC Course Application is 7 January. Please note that the holidays immediately precede the application deadline, plan accordingly for submission. Applications submitted after 7 Jan will not be considered. Completing this Course Application does NOT guarantee you a seat in this course. Students selected to attend the course will start receiving emails from ATRRS on or about 20 January. The email will be followed by a Welcome Memorandum for the Course. Unfilled seat allotments will be filled from the waitlist beginning 17 January 2024.
