Purpose
To provide tactical legal advisors with the knowledge, frameworks, and tools necessary to foster, manage, and implement innovation within their units, in alignment with Army modernization priorities. This year’s course will feature instruction on the fiscal and contracting frameworks in innovation, software acquisition, intellectual property rights, and tech transfer. It will also cover ethical engagement with industry, establishing tactical innovation labs through internal and external agreements, and navigating policies for Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and UAS/cUAS technologies. The course culminates in a capstone presentation.

This application is required for all attendees.

Notification of Selection
Students selected to attend the course will start receiving emails from ATRRS on or about 25 May. The email will be followed by a Welcome Memorandum for the Course.
