75th National Security and Law of Armed Conflict Course (NSLOAC)

General Guidance: The 75th National Security and Law of Armed Conflict (NSLOAC) Course will be held 2-13 March 2026 at TJAGLCS in Charlottesville, VA.  

This two-week course is designed to educate junior judge advocates and enlisted paralegal NCOs to succeed in national security law assignments, whether in garrison or in a deployed environment. The target audience is junior to mid-grade CPTs (O-3s) and enlisted paralegal NCOs who are currently in, or will soon start, their first national security law assignment, or are otherwise preparing for upcoming deployments or exercises.   

This application is only required for ACTIVE-DUTY Army Judge Advocates, Army civilian legal personnel, and Army enlisted paralegal NCOs. National Guard, Reserves, and all Sister Services (USAF, USN, USMC, and USCG) should enroll directly through their service training manager; no application is required. 

Important Details: 

  • Security Clearance: Because several blocks of instruction will be held at the SECRET level, all attendees must have an active SECRET security clearance.   

  • Army Application Deadline – 14 January 2026: Army Active Duty, NCOs, and civilians must submit the application NLT 14 January to be considered. Completing this Course Application does NOT guarantee you a seat in this course.  

  • Notification of Selection: Students selected to attend the course will start receiving emails from ATRRS on or about 20 January. The email will be followed by a Welcome Memorandum for the Course. Unfilled seat allotments will be filled from the waitlist beginning 20 January 2026
