Members of the 63rd Judge Advocate Officer Graduate Course

At approximately 11:15 a.m. on the morning of May 21st, 2015, the members of the 63rd Judge Advocate Officer Graduate Course were officially dismissed from the Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School to leave the classroom and return to the force as leaders in the Judge Advocate General's Corps. In front of families, friends, and distinguished guests, students of the 63rd Graduate Course walked the stage in Decker Auditorium and received their diplomas, signifying the culmination of an exciting academic year at their Regimental home.

The 115 students of the 63rd Graduate Course completed a minimum of 30 credit hours over the course of a ten month academic year. Core courses consisted of 25 credit hours in criminal law; administrative and civil law; legal assistance; international and operational law; government contract and fiscal law; professionalism development; and professional writing. Electives consist of 12 credit hours (including writing requirements). Graduates earned their Master of Laws advanced degrees in Military Law with some specializing in areas to include Contract and Fiscal law, Administrative Law, Criminal Law, and International and Operational Law. Graduates of the program include members of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Air Force. In addition to our joint partners, several international partners joined the course representing Armenia, Egypt, Ghana, the Republic of Korea, and Turkey joined the class, also earning their Master of Laws degree.
