The Comptrollers Accreditation and Fiscal Law Course hosted by TJAGLCS is now located on JAGU Moodle. Please carefully review the information below.

Steps to Enroll

  1. Review the “Course Summary” area below to ensure that you are eligible to take the course and that the course meets your requirements.
  2. Ensure you are NOT looking for the USACE Fiscal Law Refresher Course. If you need that course, see the information to the right of this screen.
  3. Once you are sure you need the FY26 Comptrollers Accreditation and Fiscal Law Course on JAGU Moodle, enroll at the “Enroll Here” box below.

Course Summary

This course provides resource managers with a survey of the statutory, regulatory, and policy authorities governing the commitment, obligation, and expenditure of appropriated funds. This course is NOT intended for attorneys or designed to provide continuing legal education credit for attorneys. This course meets the mandatory training requirements for the Army’s Comptroller Accreditation Program for CP11 and FA45 personnel, and is listed in the DOW Financial Management Regulation as an appropriate source of training for DOW fiscal law accreditation. The course was developed by the Contract and Fiscal Law Department, The Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School (TJAGLCS), Charlottesville, Virginia, and is presented online through JAG University, TJAGLCS. The course is NOT associated with other fiscal law courses that may exist within other DOW organizations, such as fiscal law refresher courses offered by the Department of Navy or the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. JAG University DOES NOT provide certificates of completion for non-TJAGLCS courses.
